Amber told Us Weekly 'I am trying to co-parent the best way that I can'. Continuing to say that things are going 'great' so far. Things are going so well that she has people telling her ‘I can tell that you saw James today because you just have that smile on your face.’ When I hear that, I’m like, ‘Yeah. It’s just the truth".

The couple split last year after she was arrested for domestic battery against him, she went on to hit Andrew while he was holding their son. She can see her son however on supervised visits. In October 2019 the Teen Mom star accepted a plea, receiving one felony charge and one year of probation.

She then went on to say “It was hard work in the beginning. I had a lot of people that were probably against me, obviously, but that’s OK. I just kept trying to focus on myself and my son and family and I got him back as much as I can right now.”

Regardless of what parents have done wrong, there is always that one moment to take action and try to fix things as quickly and as swiftly as possible. We have all made mistakes and it is up to us to grow from them and correct our wrongdoings. Growth is part of life and so is parenting. Amber seems to be learning from her decisions and we doubt she'll be in that situation again. For more Teen Mom Updates and breaking news, please Subscribe to our Celebernation Newsletter!
