Louisiana rapper Lil Boosie (Torrence Hatch Jr.) suffered a gunshot wound on Friday night when attending a vigil in Dallas that was honoring another rapper who was killed earlier this week.
Multiple police sources have confirmed the incident, with his overall condition being unknown as of Saturday afternoon. The rapper and his sources have yet to provide any further details on his condition.
Boosie was honoring Mo3 (Melvin A. Noble) who was gunned down earlier this week while driving northbound on Interstate 35 near Clarendon Drive around 11:55 a.m. on Wednesday.
Officials say that the suspect got out of his car and proceeded to shoot Noble multiple times. Noble was transported to a hospital where he later died of his wounds.
Authorities have said that at the time there seems to be no gang affiliation to Noble’s death.
Boosie began rapping in the 90’s and has gone on to release seven solo albums, as well as six collaborative albums and 42mixtapes.
