Sounds like a few inmates will be happy to see their time behind bars will be cut that little bit shorter!

The reason being is that crowded places such as prisons are a high risk for the virus to spread.

There has been an outbreak with the coronavirus and authorities are trying to see to all measures to help eliminate the spread of the virus.

The idea of speeding up the serving terms for 3,500 inmates (for nonviolent crimes) and those who are due to be released in 60 days.

This applies to not just the inmates but also those who work within the prison's, there are 35 in total. A few other conditions have changed with the prison county jail transfers of inmates moving to prison have been stopped, this is to prevent 3,000 inmates going into the state's prison system.

The inmates are quite concerned with the current system and the current situation as one has said that inmates have not been informed well enough about the corona virus and how to prevent it.

Another inmate experienced horrible conditions whilst at 'L.A. County Men's Central Prison'. Lets just hope those released aren't cariers or actually contracted the virus:/
