Bobby Shmurda (Ackquille Pollard) has a lot planned following his release from prison on Tuesday, February 23rd
At the moment the musical artist plans to keep things low-key, by having intimate meals with his family, spending time with QT, and eventually returning to music.
Shmurda will be released early following his 2014 arrest. Shmurda was imprisoned for seven years after pleading guilty to conspiring with a violent drug gang.
Authorities arrested Shmurda in late 2014 after he left a recording studio near Radio City Music Hall, just days after he performed “Hot Boy” for national television on the “Jimmy Kimmel Live” show.
Two handguns and a small amount of crack cocaine were found in his vehicle.
Shmurda and more than 15 defendants were charged with a variety of crimes including, murder, attempted murder, assault, and drug dealing. It was stated that Shmurda fired a gun toward a crowd of peoples outside a barbershop in Brooklyn.
They also got him for being present during a confrontation between rival drug gangs outside a Brooklyn courthouse where shots were fired.
On Monday, Shmurda thanked his fans for remaining loyal throughout his sentence. He had this to say on his Instagram:
"I love you all and look forward to seeing you all soon," he added. The rapper also posted a scene from the movie "King of New York" on Instagram Monday and wrote, "How the (expletive) y’all forget about me"
Migos member Quavo has stated that he’s going to be picking up his friend on Tuesday:
