It sure didn't seem as though filming of the Batman movie was having much luck at all, until now! Unluckily this was the second time filming had to be halted, the first time whilst filming in Glasgow and Hertfordshire due to the rapid coronavirus spread during the global pandemic through parts of Europe in March.

From what was predicted as only a two-week hold, filming didn't resume till earlier this week, that's a six-month delay in filming and then they had to stop again, just days after getting the show back on the road, because according to Vanity Fair, the star of the film, Robert Pattinson had tested positive for the Coronavirus, according to the Washington Post, Warner Bros, however, did not identify the star, they said a member of the cast I self-isolating. a spokeswoman for them said;

"A member of The Batman production has tested positive for Covid-19 and is isolating in accordance with established protocols. Filming is temporarily paused."

However, Vanity Fair and the Hollywood Reporter dug and tracked down some sources and were able to confirm that it is, in fact, the twilight star, Robert Pattinson.

The release date for the movie has been pushed back from June 2021 to October 2021. This delay has caused the studio to lose millions of dollars.

The Twilight star will be another Gotham City superhero star to add to the list of Christian Bale, Michael Keaton, George Clooney, and Ben Affleck

Dwayne Johnson is spreading a message on Instagram reminding fans to wear their masks and not take any chances, The Rock star and his family caught the coronavirus he said via Instagram;

“We are counting our blessings right now because we are well aware that it isn’t always the case you get on the other end of covid-19 stronger and healthier,”

Let's hope this time around there aren't any more delays and this film gets completed!
